math is confusing. still better than science though.
it's so true that all the math teachers suck and cant teach.
Lord, i pray that You give them revelations.
so i met up with mei. chi wasnt with her this time though. what a bummer.
but i did get to meet someone else. her name is janice. she's korean so she's probably radical.
like everyone says. hahaha. i didn't get to really know how she worships God, because this was only evangelizing. anyway. going on to what happened! :)
the first person was someone who was agnostic. great.
i used the love movement method. (thanks alice!!)
she was actually pretty nice when she rejected the prayer.
"smokers are the best people to talk to. they have this addiction so it's even better because they NEED God" - Mei. makes sense.
the second person was catholic. meeting her was a great encouragement.
she had a lot of stress lately so mei and i prayed that God would just fill her with joy and take away her burdens of worriness and cast her into a realm where it's all just so chill. x) well. we didn't pray it like that but you get the idea. we chitchatted with her for a long time. i gave her IMPACT's card and put my name and number on it too just in case she couldn't find the place or whatnot. oh and her name is yvette. after we prayed for her, she told us that she felt more peaceful. YAY GO GOD. work through her, Father! :D
then we walked around some more and decided to go up to this one asian girl.
her name was claire and she was apparently studying for her geography test which by the way was at 6:30pm. around that time it was about five i believe. i asked mei to translate for me while i was talking to her. then mei asked her if we could pray for her and she stood up and said "oh please please" i was pretty happy because she looked so eagered, so happy that we offered to pray for her. my heart filled with joy.
so mei prayed for her. at first i thought she was going to pray in chinese. but i guessed wrong.
afterwards, she thanked us and i gave her IMPACT's card, wrote my name and number on it just in case. then what made me even happier was the fact that she said, "i'll come when i can or depending on what i get on this geography test"
i KNOW that God will keep His promise when seeing us in faith. God, I pray that You bless her and annoint her with knowledge for her geography test. I know Lord that it's nearly 9 at the moment, but i just hope You still hear me out. i see the light in her Jesus. Use this to bring her to You. show her the love You have for her. im crying out to You for her. she is Your daughter. we are hungry for You. In Your name, I pray Amen.
"this is actually going pretty well. your way is better. i like it. people are responding nicely." - mei
YAY GO GOD.
love, jasmine.

"Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and LIVE A LIFE OF LOVE, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. " (Ephesians5:1~2)
sorry i missed your call, i was at the shelter. i did call you back though :)
nnnnnnnnice!
I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
-Luke 6:47~48-
Keep on building on that firm rock!
pray for students who are having midterm tests!? What a way to do it! They sure need prayer when it comes to mid-term...
